| Launched in July of 2001, z/VM Version 4 has already seen three releases of new function. This presentation will give you an overview of the latest capabilities shipped in z/VM 4.3.0. You will also find out how z/VM V4 is priced differently than VM/ESA or z/VM V3, offering cost savings for existing VM customers and making it easy for new VM users to deploy Linux with z/VM on your zSeries processor complex. A discussion on z/VM futures will be included. | |

| Reed joined IBM's VM/SP development organization in 1981 as a Junior Programmer. He has held management and product planning positions in the VM organization since. Currently, Reed is the Lead Technical Product Planner for the z/VM platform, responsible for future product plans and various marketing and business support activities. | |
